Romance Reviews Today ratings and philosophy

Romance Reviews Today does not give a number or letter grade to any full length review. We believe that reviews are subjective and that our comments on the work reflect our opinion of the book. We do award a Perfect 10 to those books we believe merit exceptional notice and are considered to be contenders for the Best Book of the Year award.

The exception to the no-rating is for nibbles. Short stories or vignettes of 50 pages or less. Because of the brevity of the stories it is necessary to keep the comments short so that no spoilers are given. We use ratings rather than a lengthy commentary on the story. Nibble are rated from 1 to 5, with a 1 indicating a not recommend and a 5 making the story a contender or a Best Book of the Year award, or the equivalent of a Perfect 10.

All reviews are the reviewer's opinions and will not be altered other than for errors of fact or to remove potential spoilers, if any.
