The Kingdom of Judar - Present Day
Sheik Shehab Aal Masood, Crown Prince of Judar, is
waiting for Farah Beaumont, the woman the media calls insatiable;
a cold and calculating financier who leaves a behind string of
broken hearts in her promiscuous path. No matter. Shehab is only
at this costume party to trap her. This foolish woman could have
had all his wealth to share, but when her father, King Atef Aal
Shalaan, the King of Zohayd, explained it was her duty to unite
their kingdoms, she refused. And now, at this lavish costume party,
Shehab watches Farah enter the room. Her photographs do her no
justice. The woman is stunning, beautiful beyond belief. But Shehab
cannot allow his emotions to get in the way. He plans to seduce
Farah, trick her into falling in love with him and marry her before
she learns that he's the same man she unknowingly dismissed as
"just some prince."
Farah Beaumont doesn't know who the handsome foreign
stranger is, but he's followed her with his eyes since she came
through the door and started walking across the ballroom, all
the while seeming to pull her toward him with just a look. He
is costumed in the flowing robes of the Middle East, but she doesn't
know much about those lands either, except what she recently learned
from her newly-found father, who actually happens to be a king
in one of those countries. And now, thanks to a clumsy waiter,
she's standing face to face with the man, embarrassed, drenched
in spilled champagne, and desperately needing a change of clothing.
The stranger who calls himself Shehab offers her an escape, but
they're both overrun by paparazzi as they leave the party. In
no time at all, she's aboard his private jet as Shehab whisks
her out of the country, where she will unknowingly become THE
DESERT LORD'S BRIDE.
The story of the fate of the Throne of Judar that
began in THE DESERT LORD'S BABY (May 2008) now moves to shed light
on the new Crown Prince Shehab Aal Masood, who must marry Farah
Beaumont immediately. It is only her blood ties that will bind
and secure Judar's fate. Farah has been touted by the press as
shades of many evils, but as newspapers are wont to do, their
news is far from the truth. In the hours after Shehab and Farah
meet, they tumble into love fast and headfirst. The hours become
days, and then quickly turn into weeks, but sooner, rather than
later, Shehab must confess his deception. Will Farah accept that
he loves her for herself and not the Judar Crown?
THE DESERT LORD'S BRIDE is the second book in The
Throne of Judar miniseries, which will wrap up in September with
THE DESERT KING, the story of brother Kamal's quest for love and
romance while the kingdom's future still hangs in the balance.
The action in THE DESERT LORD'S BRIDE is solely focused on the
passionate relationship of Shehab and Farah as they spend every
tantalizing moment of their time together on Shehab's magical
island. Don't miss this exotic and thrilling tale!
