MOVING TARGET - Lori A. As Chesca works to uncover the identity of the Queen of Hearts and connect her to Arachne, the investigation heats up in unexpected ways, and Chesca and Will find out that the web Arachne has spun reaches farther than anyone could have imagined. While MOVING TARGET is an interesting book, it definitely helps to have read the previous stories in the Athena Force series. Through the four previous books the alumnae -- all of whom also belong to Oracle, a super-secret intelligence organization -- have been collecting information, and in this story, Chesca is trying to find the evidence to tie all of the pieces together. Along the way, Chesca is forced to interact with her upper-crust family and the mandatory social obligations that go with being the Thorne family heir as well as dealing with her inconvenient attraction to her new partner. An enjoyable tale, especially for fans of the Athena Force series, be sure to look for MOVING TARGET. Jennifer Bishop |
