Gia Trainello’s life as a fashion designer is torn asunder when her father and one of her brothers is killed and her other brother left bedridden. But after the tragic death of his younger brother that he blames on the Trainello family, he’s now working undercover for the FBI to bring down the whole family, including Gia. But there’s a history between them, an attraction neither wants to admit has never died. What will happen if Gia finds out that Luca is out to destroy her and her family, all in the midst of her struggle for control?

Whoa! Tori Carrington has done it again! They’ve pushed the proverbial envelope by writing a story about a mob family that doesn’t sugarcoat what it’s really like inside the Mafia. Of course, Gia didn’t want to find herself thrust into the position of Lady Boss, but she isn’t going to let her family “business” get taken over. She’s hoping her injured brother will get well enough to run it; however, he’s dragging his feet on the road to recovery. Meanwhile, Luca is around, ready to offer his help. Gia isn’t sure she can trust Luca, especially since he disappeared so abruptly seven years ago, leaving her in the lurch in her time of need.

Luca has his own plan of revenge in bringing down the Trainello dynasty, but the reappearance of Gia, and as the head of the Mafia no less, throws him for a loop. He still cares for her and wonders if he can bring himself to destroy her. Meanwhile, readers are given a glimpse of mob life and what happens when rival factions battle for control -- at any cost.

If you’re looking for a change of pace story that is hot and compelling, then you will truly not go wrong in picking up DANGEROUS… It’s certainly going to have more than a few readers buzzing. Way to go, Tori Carrington!
