Short Contemporary Romance

New York City, New York – Present Day

Hunter Osland’s family has acquired the beauty products company Sinclair Mahoney works for. Several weeks earlier, Hunter and Sinclair had one spectacular night together, but Sinclair left him the next morning believing they had nothing in common. When Hunter is appointed CEO, the last person he expects to meet is Sinclair. Oh, he hasn’t forgotten her, but he’s not in the market for an extended affair. However, one look at Sinclair has him rethinking his plans.

Sinclair considers her job the only love affair she wants. Hunter is attractive, but she’s not getting involved with a playboy. When Hunter takes over Lush Beauty Products, it’s inevitable that Hunter and Sinclair would be intertwined both by business and the attraction between them that has not died. Hunter takes on the task of assisting Sinclair in acquiring a prime contract, and an even more personal one of providing a makeover for her. Will this charming billionaire soon not be the beast this beauty fears?

Hunter and Sinclair first appeared in THE BILLIONAIRE WHO BOUGHT CHRISTMAS (SD #1836, Nov 07) and while it’s not required that you read that first, it does contain their introduction to each other. Even at that first meeting, their smoldering chemistry was apparent.

Once again, Barbara Dunlop shines by creating characters that are so compelling you can sense right from the start that they belong together. Readers know it will only be a matter of time before Hunter and Sinclair are lovers once more, especially when they journey to Paris, France and succumb to the City of Love. Readers looking for an emotionally satisfying story need not look any further than BEAUTY AND THE BILLIONAIRE.
