Paranormal Romance

Houston, Texas – Present Day

They are known as The Eleven. Men, or rather Otherkin who are in human form. Strong, aggressive, dangerous, and sexy as sin, these men stand between the world ending and humans becoming extinct. An ancient Mayan prophecy predicts the world will end on 12-21-12 unless The Eleven can defeat the enemy.

Kelly Maloy is like the others in her family…impatient. She’s been hired by a man named Fin to drive a man around Houston at night. The minute the man starts walking towards the car, Kelly is hit with a wave of fear and arousal all wrapped up into one powerful punch. It doesn’t get any better when he climbs into the car. Introductions are made and she learns her charge is Ty Endeka. Man, oh man, this is so very freaky. Something about him is off, and if she could just put her finger on it, things would be great. The longer she’s in his presence, the stronger the pull of attraction between them. Can she resist temptation?

After billions of years being nowhere, suddenly Ty is thrust into the world here and now. He’s got no clue what the hell went on beforehand because he can’t really remember much, but one thing is for sure, the woman sitting beside him is wreaking havoc on his already overdue libido. Kelly is sweet, beautiful, and seems to tame his inner beast…at least somewhat. But he knows she will run for the hills and not look back once she discovers what he really is…a T-Rex. Ty and the others, called The Eleven by their leader Fin, must find Nine, as Fin affectionately names the leader of the bad guys, before he destroys the Earth and all its inhabitants. You see, the guys might not remember what went on before, but Fin does, and he doesn’t want them or himself to go through it again.

First in a new series, ETERNAL PLEASURE is simply WOW! Ty is definitely an alpha male through and through, not to mention a giant flesh-eating T-Rex. What girl wouldn’t be excited about having him for a boyfriend? <g> Seriously though, Ty and the others don’t have a clue as to how to interact or deal with this new world they’ve suddenly found themselves thrust into. Fin is the only one who knows everything there is to know, and he isn’t sharing that knowledge. It’s on a need to know basis. Kelly isn’t too sure she’s made such a good decision when she first meets Ty. The overwhelming desire that swamps her when she first sees him is enough to scare anybody. But mix it with a healthy dose of fear and a sexy man, and you’ve got a disaster waiting to happen. Or in their case…fireworks! A prophecy foretold, the enemy’s plans to destroy the earth in the eleventh hour, are what Kelly, Ty, and the others are facing. It’s dangerous, and if they fail…the world ends.

Secondary characters include other members of The Eleven whom I look forward to reading about in the near future. Several of them captured my attention just by the dangerous aura that surrounds them. Picture a room full of big carnivores and a poor little white mouse and you’ll catch my drift. <g> I don’t want to say too much for fear of giving the story away. Just know these men are as strong and powerful as Ty. Now Fin, he’s a different sort of fellow all together. He’s too good looking for his own good, more powerful than any of them know, and he knows things about The Eleven that he doesn’t want them to discover. It’s all for good, I promise. Other characters include a few vampires and werewolves who come together and fight with The Eleven against Nine. Yes, Nine is a bad guy. A really, really bad guy with a God complex.

Author Nina Bangs has outdone herself with her latest book, ETERNAL PLEASURE. She’s always been a favorite author of mine, and all her stories are great. But I believe she’s taken it a step further this time, and boy did she do good. <g> Grab your copy of ETERNAL PLEASURE today and see for yourself what I am talking about.
