Elizabeth Davis is traveling on a stage coach with Chris McQuade to Wind River to find her husband, Mark. Chris is a handsome, quiet man who looks dangerous with his Peacemaker firmly attached to his hip. Elizabeth is very attracted to him, and he feels unusually protective and possessive of the beautiful woman at his side. Forced to kill three men intent on robbing the stage, Elizabeth and Chris continue their trip on horseback, knowing that the stage is too easy a target for robbers. Even though Elizabeth no longer loves Mark, she is saddened to hear that he killed a deputy during a bank robbery, and Chris, a Federal Marshall, is on his way to apprehend him. After a hot sexual encounter, Elizabeth and Chris are dismayed by the arrival of Mark and his gang. Will they be able to get out of this frightening situation alive?

A short story with a lot of heat that could easily be called erotica, ANOTHER MAN’S WIFE has sexual tension as well as a very sexy romantic encounter between the protagonists. Not an original premise, but it is a well-written tale of the Old West that readers will find exciting.

Ah -- reminiscent of a few of my favorite pirate/captive romances of old, CAPTURE HER HEART is charming story with plenty of humor and sexual tension. Don’t miss it.

Will Shane make the uptight Southern belle Jessie swoon and fall into bed with him and find the perpetuator.

FIREWORKS gives readers a feel almost like that of Tennessee Williams’s Cat on a Hot Tin Roof with its hot days and even hotter nights. Jessie is a prim, upstanding citizen of the small Southern town she lives in, and while she initially resists the appeal of Shane, she can’t for long. The pace of the story is fast, and I got the impression that I was reading the Reader’s Digest version of FIREWORKS as the author explains what happens in the interim between some sizzling interchanges between Shane and Jessie.

If you enjoy a scintillating suspense with sizzling love scenes, then you won’t go wrong with FIREWORKS.
