When Aimee tells him of the nightmares she is having about her mother’s murder, Royce is compelled to protect her from the past. Shortly afterwards, a couple of mysterious incidents occur that makes him wonder if someone else is also afraid of Aimee's new found memories. Royce saves Aimee from certain death one night when someone attempts to smother her with a pillow. Aimee’s father vows to protect his daughter and sends her to Royce’s isolated home, Stonecliff. In the close confines of Stonecliff, Aimee and Royce will no longer be able to deny their attraction to one another.

The characters in SEDUCED BY SIN will make you laugh, make you sad, and make you ball your hand into a fist in frustration. Aimee thinks of herself as an insignificant little mouse who does not deserve true happiness or real love. Before SEDUCED BY SIN is over, she matures into a woman who knows her true worth and becomes unafraid to follow the desires of her heart. Royce is just a man of so many contradictions. At one point, he believes Aimee is better off without him. Then, before you can turn the page, he is all over her! Readers are in for a definite treat when Royce finally decides to admit his feelings for Aimee in one of the most romantic scenes I’ve ever read.

SEDUCED BY SIN is the third book in the Daventry Sisters series. The older sisters find their true loves in the first two books, and they, along with their families, make appearances in SEDUCED BY SIN. I have not read the other books, but I was able to follow SEDUCED BY SIN without difficulty. The return of Aimee’s memories is masterfully included in the story as only small portions of the night are given at a time, which makes readers yearn for more. I guarantee that everyone will be surprised when the night’s events are finally revealed. I recommend SEDUCED BY SIN to lovers of historical romances looking for a fast-paced story with believable characters and a great mystery.
