Futuristic Romance

Chicago – Present Day and 100 years in the Future

Abby Shore has a long to-do list: figure out the bank situation on her house, attend martial arts class, start remodeling the living room. Surprisingly, saving the world didn’t make the list, but here she is doing exactly that. Something weird has happened, and Abby has somehow traveled one hundred years into the future, and really, mankind hasn’t done a good job with the world if the red-eyed men chasing her are the norm. When she finally gets a chance to catch her breath, she’s amazed to see Dr. Shane Maddox, the man she just met the previous night on an unscheduled trip to the emergency room.

It was while she was on her way to a date with Shane that Abby ended up in this strange situation. Amazingly, Shane blames Abby for the state of the world. Huh?!? How did a twenty-something trying to make ends meet end up in this screwed up version of the future with freaking vampires and the weight of the world on her shoulders? Even worse, Abby’s poor dog Charlie is destined to die waiting for her back in the past. Can Abby figure out what’s going on before it’s too late?

A TWIST of fate has landed Abby in a situation that she is so not prepared for. Physically fit from working on her house and at her dojo, Abby never realized her ease with a sword would come in so handy. The only point of familiarity between her past and the apocalyptic future she’s fallen into is Shane, and despite the changes he’s gone through, the attraction between them is still very much there. Secondary characters provide background and history as well as the impetus for the movement of the plot. Together Abby and Shane can change the world, but only if they work together.

Full of kick-butt action, humor, and a sizzling love story, TWIST is a highly entertaining tale you won’t want to miss.
