The Magicka - MaryJanice Davidson
Cannon Falls, Minnesota - Wednesday, just before the Friends marathon on TBS

She's a magnet for the supernatural, and he's bored with his life.

Ireland Shea is on a mission, one her roommates -- a violent Fairy, a vampire, a werewolf, and a possessed car -- would rather she let go. But the zombie just looks so lonely by herself in the cemetery. Determined to help the lifeless woman, Ireland barely stops to acknowledge the mysterious man who walks into her life. She does, however, admire his body immensely!

In MaryJanice Davidson's The Magicka, Micah has come to train the new Magicka, the magical protector of the supernatural, if only she'd stop and listen to him. Ireland is absolutely captivating and it is easy to see why Micah is immediately attracted. Ms. Davidson has a knack for creating interesting characters with a great comic twist. I hope this isn't the last we'll see of Ireland Shea and her friends.

Voodoo Moon - Lori Handeland
Devil's Fork, Louisiana - Present Day

FBI Agent Dana (don't call her Scully) Duran has been sent to investigate a possible serial killer in Devil's Fork. She doesn't expect to find a case chock full of voodoo dolls and mysterious circumstances. Dana also doesn't plan to fall in immediate lust with the main suspect, Julian Porter. Is she willing to do anything to find the killer, or has her heart and mind been compromised?

A sizzling tale as only Lori Handeland can tell it, Voodoo Moon is thrilling and entertaining. Dana Duran may be petite, but she packs a wallop, as Julian soon finds out. I only wish that all problems could be solved the way these two defeat the killer. You won't want to miss it.

Breath of Magic - Cheyenne McCray
San Francisco, California - Present Day

The battle against Darkwolf and the Formorii demons continues in the Bay Area as Gray witches and D'Danann warriors fight to prevent demons from overrunning Earth. Sydney Aline's coven has been neck deep in the fight, and she's been honing her skills to make sure she can hold her own in battle. But can she hold her heart safe when it comes to D'Danann warrior Conlan?

Continuing in the tradition of the Magic Series, Sydney and Conlan's relationship is forged in battle and tempered by humor. Breath of Magic may be short, but it captures the full essence of a romance-filled adventure. Readers not familiar with the series may be a bit lost, but I'm sure this taste will encourage them to check out the previous books.

Any Witch Way She Can - Christine Warren
Present Day

One little spell for the perfect man can't hurt, can it? Miranda "Randy" Berry, disgusted over her last few relationships, decides to send out a cosmic love spell and is literally bowled over by the results. Is Randy willing to put aside a small family feud to get the man who may just be "The One"?

Very cute and entertaining, Randy Berry, hopped up on a tub of ice cream (you know you've done it as well ladies!), decides to look through some of the family magic books for a solution to her empty-bed syndrome. Who knew a woman with no magical talent and a less than consistent adherence to the spell ingredients could stir up so much trouble and still manage to find what she's looking for? Check out Any Witch Way She Can and chuckle as Randy finds love where she least expects it.

Mystery and mayhem mix quite nicely with romance and magic in NO REST FOR THE WITCHES. These four paranormal tales provide enough action, humor, and all out entertainment to tempt readers to sit down, relax, and escape for awhile.
