Paranormal Romance - Anthology

Four women are surprised by a world they didn't know existed, and love they never thought was possible.

Tempting Fate - Susan Sizemore
New Orleans, Louisiana - Present Day

Desiree Gill has experienced some strange things in her life, but her current erotic fantasies starring well-known and loved rock star, Jon Coyote, are really just a passing fancy. Or so she thinks. When Desiree finds herself pregnant and the only sex she's had was in her dreams, Jon better have a good explanation.

Though a bit confusing at first to understand past versus present encounters, Tempting Fate is an enjoyable ride into the heart of the Big Easy after Katrina. Desiree is a fearless young woman who is determined to help others, especially animals, and Jon is bemused and intrigued by her when they first meet. That bemusement blossoms to outright attraction when they run into each other again. And then things get interesting...

The Darkness Within - Maggie Shayne
Present Day

Caroline Connelly's self-esteem took a huge jab when her husband dumped her. The fact that her current boyfriend is a selfish bastard doesn't help any. When Johnny Lipton comes to her rescue after an angry ghost accosts her in her house, Caroline can't help but feel a tingle at his gentlemanly treatment. But can a woman hurt badly by men in the past trust a man who's keeping secrets?

Caroline was slowly slipping into a depression when the ghost appeared in The Darkness Within. Suddenly, she is pulled out of her rut and into glorious life, with all the accompanying ups and downs. Caroline does take a while to learn to trust again, but it's very realistic, considering her past. Teeming with action, adventure, mystery, romance, and heartache, what more could readers ask for?

Cobwebs over the Moon - Lori Handeland
New York and Alaska - Present Day

Carly Kelly grew up in the lap of luxury, but it didn't save her from the vagaries of a highly dysfunctional family. That dysfunction suddenly has new meaning when she finds herself attacked on the street, her father killed, and herself on the run from what looks to be werewolves. Can Dylan Shepard, former soldier and current nurse to the mother Carly thought was dead, effectively stand between her and death?

Werewolves are real and after Carly Kelly in Lori Handeland's Cobwebs over the Moon. An action-packed ride from beginning to end, it is chock full of witty non-sequiturs and sexual tension that will leave readers panting for more. Although the ending is a little too pat for what I expect from Ms. Handleland, it's still an enjoyable ride getting there.

Crazy for the Cat - Caridad Pineiro
Amazon Jungle - Present Day

When Jessica Morales's partner is killed by a jaguar in the Amazon jungle, she is determined to finish his work. On the search for a plant that is purported to have healing and rejuvenating powers, Jessica is not about to be stopped by anyone, including her deliciously savage local guide Javier, who definitely doesn't want her to be there. But can Jessica handle the danger that lurks in the depths of the jungle?

A dark tale of love, lust, and revenge lies at the heart of Crazy for the Cat. Jessica is a fairly single-minded woman who is a bit difficult to like. Add to that the taciturn but gorgeous Javier da Costa with secrets of his own and the stage is set for an explosive romance.

The moon is said to have many powers, and her affects are felt in MOON FEVER. Enjoy four entertaining stories with adventurous heroines and the heroes who try to tame them.
