Bishop Falls, Texas – Present Day Football is big and important in Texas, and the whole town comes out for the games. The Bishop Falls football team won the state championship last fall, and on the night that everyone involved with the team received their rings, Quarterbacks Coach Cade Montgomery was in Bailey Davis’s coffee shop celebrating. Bailey is the widow of the late, legendary Ethan Davis, who is immortalized on the football field. Bailey has no life outside of her coffee shop, though she has recently taken in a cat who actually belongs to the mayor. But Bailey isn’t planning on returning the cat anytime soon, despite the reward flyers. However, her secret is discovered one night when Cade finds her with the cat and recognizes it.
