Hobby Island, Texas – Present Day Sisters Calista and Athena Dempsey were once inseparable, even as they competed against each other at golf. Their father, Benjamin, was heartless and ruthless as he used each sister against the other. It finally broke Calista, and she quit golf and cut off all contact with her father and sister. Athena went on to become a top player in the LPGA. Their mother had not only lost custody of the girls when they were young, but she never contacted them again. Now, Calista and Athena learn that their mother is dead and that they must come to Hobby Island for a memorial service for her. They arrive, and immediately cross paths. It appears that the driving force behind what happened was due to Benjamin Dempsey, a man so consumed with narcissism that he was willing to destroy his children. Also invited to the island is Reid Thornton, a man who held Calista’s heart until it too was broken. Neither sister wants to compete against the other, because that is something their father would gladly enjoy. Is Benjamin going to eventually show up in this tale?
