Past and Present Day

Jay and Beverly Gilbert met, fell in love and married quickly. Everything was great but within a short time, Beverly's job became a sore spot and their marriage ended in divorce. Now two years later, Beverly walks out on the stage and sees her ex-husband, Jay sitting there. Did I mention Beverly is a stripper? She is turned on dancing for Jay and when he asks for a private lap dance, she gives him one he won't forget. Unfortunately, neither does she. Why is he here? What does he want? Beverly's feelings for Jay are still strong, her body craving his touch as badly as the first time. Since their divorce Beverly has been undergoing past life regression therapy and has learned she was once Camille, a European princess, married to a prince who it seemed didn't love her enough to get rid of his harem. Very interesting indeed!

An actor, Jay has never forgotten Beverly nor has his desire for her ebbed. After his friends tell him about seeing Beverly dance, Jay can't help himself. He sits there watching her shake her fine behind for other men reminding him the reason for their marriage ending in the first place. So why is he sitting here, watching her do the very thing that made him angry and jealous? Well now, that's a very good question. He wants a night or two with Beverly to sate the hunger inside. However, after one time, Jay knows that once will never be enough. But it might have to be once she starts talking about past lives, harems, a prince and princess. Emphasis on her being the princess. If he wants to keep her in his life, can Jay accept everything about her?

Sheri Whitefeather pens a good story with PRIVATE DANCER. Jay and Beverly are intriguing characters and the sex between them is steamy. Beverly is a woman unafraid of her femininity, comfortable in and out of her clothes. Jay is a typical male who has problems with his wife being on display for other men. Together these two are hot! The only problem I had was with the past life regression part. It made the story a bit disjointed and hard to get into at times. I felt that it detracted from Beverly and Jay's relationship as they tried to make it work once again. Secondary characters were Prince David and Princess Camille and a couple of his harem girls.

All in all PRIVATE DANCER is an okay read.
