Erotic Historical Romance

England, 1783

With her father's recent marriage (and preoccupation with his bride), Lady Vesta Chambers is frantic about her come-out in London. Her godmother, Lady Diana, agrees to accompany Vesta with the understanding that Vesta's godfather, Viscount Ludovic, also known as “The Devil DeVere,” will help provide for her comfort. But Vesta doesn't get a chance to attend her come-out because she meets Ludovic's younger brother, Captain Hewett DeVere, and Vesta declares that he will be the man she'll marry.

Hew isn't looking to marry and certainly not to an eighteen year old virgin. Vesta's wild and spontaneous manner has him on his toes, yet even he can't stop her impulsive behavior, which includes drugging and kidnapping Hew. Now together on the high seas, will Vesta get what she wants? Or can Hew convince her that he's not worthy of her?

Vesta was raised by her father after her mother passed on years ago, and she's feeling a bit left out as he is now paying attention to his new bride (their story is in A WILD NIGHT'S BRIDE, now available from Breathless Press). Her goal is to attend her come-out, but that is soon pushed aside when she meets Hew. How can he resist her charms? But Hew does indeed, treating her like a little sister. He wants to protect her, not ravish her. Well, she will get his attention now by kidnapping him. Hew is the exact opposite of his devil incarnate brother Ludovic, who has a sexual appetite the size of Big Ben. Hew is more restrained and very much a gentleman. This is how he treats Vesta (to her annoyance) despite her attempts to get his attention.

The first part of THE VIRGIN HUNTRESS revolves around Vesta trying to garner Hew's attention. Even Vesta's godmother, Diana, thinks she's a foolish girl to try to snag Hew. But Vesta is a woman on a mission, and nothing will stop her from laying claim to Hew. Once on the high seas, will she accomplish her mission? Will Hew have to make love to this virgin in order to shut her up? Vesta may be young in years, but she's mature enough to know what she wants in a husband.

A sizzling tale filled with historical details and a wonderful read, head on over to Breathless Press and snatch up your copy of THE VIRGIN HUNTRESS.
