Jackson Hole, Wyoming – Present Day

Several months ago, when cowboy Trey Wheeler's truck slid off the road and he was rescued by a mysterious woman, he didn't get a chance to learn her name. Spending a few days at the Serenity Ski Lodge, Trey plans to enjoy his time there as most of his fellow coworkers celebrate the marriage of Emmett Sterling and Pam Mulholland. But Trey's first day at the resort has him running into and recognizing his mystery rescuer: Elle Masterson, one the lodge's ski instructors. Their meeting once again might be by chance, but Trey has every intention of thanking Elle in a very erotic way.

Elle's life is pretty much that of a solitary traveler, as she spends her summers in Argentina and her winters at Serenity. As such, it doesn't allow much time for permanent relationships to form, so when sparks fly between her and Trey, she only hesitates a moment before agreeing to have a fling with him. They're hoping to hide their trysts from others at the resort, but the place is brimming with wedding guests, and it's going to be hard. Of course, that means finding the most opportune of times as they can…

A scorcher of a tale, COWBOYS & ANGELS has a Christmas wedding theme that features lots of cameos by many characters from the Sons of Chance series, so this might be one best enjoyed by fans of the series. Count me as one, and I thoroughly enjoyed the sizzle that flares to life between Trey and Elle once they recognize each other from months ago. Trey never forget his beautiful “angel” and even went so far as to get an angel tattoo. This action flummoxes Elle at first, because she's never had anyone care for her because of her own family's disinterest while growing up. Traveling from continent to continent has allowed her to keep from forming close relationships, yet her feelings for Trey soon begin to scare her as he indicates he wants to be more than a temporary fling. Will Elle run the other way as soon as the wedding is over?

COWBOYS & ANGELS takes place during the holiday season, as the countdown to the wedding continues, and Trey begins to hope he can spend Christmas with Elle. Of course, she tries to resist giving into his request, but the man is persistent. And hot sex is very much a pretty good persuader. Trey and Elle have sex as much as time permits, what with her job duties and his as part of providing the music at the wedding, but they still manage to squeeze in enough time to make COWBOYS & ANGELS a definite scorcher. Will Trey convince Elle that they make a great couple and should start looking at a future together?

It's love in the Teton Mountains at Christmastime for Trey and Elle in COWBOYS & ANGELS, and we are in for a treat that is sure to please many Blaze readers.
