Contemporary Series Romance Maui, Hawaii & San Diego, California After an altercation on a plane, flight attendant Nimita Chaudary is jobless and stranded in Maui. All the flights are booked, and she can’t find a vacant hotel room. At what is possibly her last chance, she is talking to the hotel clerk when a couple of men nearby look over at her, and she realizes that they are people that she knows from her past. The other male in their party won’t arrive until tomorrow, so they offer her the use of his hotel room. She accepts but then is woken in the middle of the night when a man enters the room. Turns out, he is the friend whose room she’s in. He is also a man from her past: Dr. Roshan Dave. Roshan has plenty of responsibilities, but he took the time off to vacation with his two best friends. He was going to be late, but managed to get away sooner, only to discover the room occupied by Nimita Chaudary. They knew each other in high school, and she tutored him when they were seniors. But he accused her of using him to get a higher grade, enough that she was the valedictorian at their graduation. He is stunned to see her, and she hasn’t changed a lot. She is still beautiful and as sassy as ever. His friends convince her to stay longer in exchange for her being their tour guide. Meanwhile, the more time Roshan and Nimita are around each other, the deeper they are falling for each other. Will their vacation fling continue past Hawaii? How about if it’s soon revealed that both live in San Diego? Welcome to REUNION WITH THE DOC, where it starts in exotic Maui and then continues in San Diego. Roshan thought Nimita betrayed him in high school, which led him to yell at her. But now he realizes that he was wrong, so he apologizes to her. Their interaction is tentative at first. She is still ticked at him, but soon she is softening. She is as smart as Roshan but gave up a job in the biomedical field to become a flight attendant. But after the “incident” on the plane that went viral via video, she is struggling to decide what to do next. Her “home” in San Diego is with her married sister, where their father also lives. The sisters do not get along. So, one can see why she is dragging her feet to get on the next plane home. But imagine her surprise to run into Roshan later in San Diego. Roshan’s sister has been sick most of her life, and it’s been his responsibility to keep an eye on her. But he finally got the opportunity to take a vacation and is enjoying his time in Hawaii. Especially since it now includes Nimita. They never really discussed where her “home” was, so imagine his surprise running into her. It’s like a gift. A second chance with a woman he is attracted to. Will they take advantage of what has been given to them? Or will they blow it because both feel like they have nothing to offer in a relationship?
