Chelsea is the oldest in the family, but it is her brother who will inherit the ranch where she works hard each day. She has been trying to garner the attention of her father because she wants to stake a claim to the ranch. So far, no luck. Chelsea knew Nolan is interested in her, so she decided to say yes to a few dates with him. She didn’t expect to fall for him, especially when their lovemaking is out of this world. But she is aware that the pending lawsuit hangs over them. Can they separate the lawsuit from their love for each other?

The Texas Cattleman’s Club: Ranchers and Rivals series is about an unexpected lawsuit over a piece of land that was deeded to Nolan’s mother and half-sister, both of whom died in a car accident a few years ago. Apparently, the half-sister was the daughter of Chelsea’s uncle, though there is no proof and the man denies it. But there is that alleged deed of land given to them by Chelsea’s late grandfather. This has put the Thurston and Grandin families at loggerheads. Can Nolan and Chelsea overcome the family feud to find love? They are certainly enjoying each other in bed.

Chelsea is competing with her brother over which sibling will inherit the right to head the family ranch, but it really hasn’t been a fair contest because their father insists it will go to the only male son. But it is Chelsea who is doing the bulk of the work. She wants to impress upon her father how she is dedicated to the family by finding out something about Nolan and Heath Thurston. Instead, she falls for Nolan. He is feeling the same way, yet he treads carefully knowing that their family dynamics won’t make it easy for them to be together.
