Medicine Creek, Wyoming – Present Day Joe Bravo and Macy Storm have been friends since childhood, and she works for him at his hardware store. Macy is a divorced mother of a six-year-old, Ana. Joe has had two bad relationships with women, so he isn’t looking for love. But he is interested in a partnership with a woman, and hopefully a child. He asks Macy to marry him, promising to take care of her and Ana. She resists at first, but he is too convincing. Why not marry your best friend and never worry about falling for the wrong guy? Everything seems to be going as planned once they marry; however, an interesting thing happens. Joe and Macy are falling in love. But a shocker soon disrupts their lives. Joe had a girlfriend in high school, but she cheated on him. Macy met Caleb, married him, and had a child named Ana. But he cheated on her, prompting Macy to move back to Wyoming. Meanwhile, Joe married, but his wife was an alcoholic. She died a few years ago in a drunk driving accident. One can see why he has forsaken love and marriage. Both Macy and Joe have given up on finding a partner who will not betray them. So, why not each other? In THE MARRIAGE PLAN, Macy and Joe settle into their new life, along with Ana. He even wants to adopt Ana, but will Caleb agree, even if he has no contact with his daughter? Then the unthinkable is dropped into their laps. How will it change their lives? Will they decide to end their marriage, or band together to make it work out? Meanwhile, Macy discovers that she is falling in love with Joe. He has made it clear that he doesn’t believe in love. If she proclaims her love for him, will he reject her? It’s a hard decision that she will have to make. Yet, while Joe might not believe in love, he also discovers that he can’t live without Macy. A marriage that they thought would be the perfect arrangement in THE MARRIAGE PLAN soon becomes complicated. Will Macy and Joe make it work? Will love bring them together in the end?
