Ocean Breeze, California – Present Day

Harper Michaels is fairly well known in the dance industry as a top ballerina. She hires Nathan Connolly to build a deck onto her cottage and is stunned to realize when she meets him that he is Nathan Goldman, a former world-renowned dancer who disappeared years ago from the dance world. When she calls him by his former last name, he at first denies it, but when she says that they met years ago, he can’t deny it. He abandoned dancing to start home contracting and prefers his new career. But Harper remains curious why he gave up his former career. Their relationship, though it’s supposed to be business only, remains strained. Nathan soon opens up to Harper, and she gains insight into why he stopped dancing. As she trains for a charity event, the closer they become as he starts to show interest in ballet again. Will she convince him to join her on the stage?

THEIR SECOND CHANCE DANCE is an emotion-filled tale as Harper and Nathan have both struggled with their past. Harper’s parents fought each other and used her as a pawn in their countless power struggles. Ballet was the one thing she could use to lose herself in, and not their battles. Nathan was raised by his single mother, who is the ultimate dance mom. She pushed him to be the best, and he was, but the constant striving to be better got to him, so he finally walked away, much to his mother’s displeasure. Their relationship today is still strained. Harper and Nathan use their shared painful childhood to connect. While he tells her that he doesn’t miss ballet, could she interest him in dancing for the charity event? Readers will have to find out if that happens.

Meanwhile, Nathan continues to build Harper’s deck, plus he buys a nearby cottage with the intention of remodeling it and then selling it. Being so close to each other means they often spend a lot of time together. Readers can see the emotional bond developing between them. But will they take the opportunity to take it to the next level by doing the dance of love? Readers will grow to care for Harper and Nathan and want them to get together. By the end of THEIR SECOND CHANCE DANCE, will that happen? Find out by grabbing a copy of this intriguing tale.
