Historical Romance

England during the Regency Period

Lady Charlotte Worth is the second daughter of the Duke of Faraday. She is an amazing model of perfection, especially compared to her younger sister, Muriel. Probably Charlotte 's only fault, if you can call it that, is her genuine ability to find good in everyone. So her suitors, no matter who they are, all seem just wonderful to her. When eligible young men begin to flock to the duke's country estate, hoping to waylay Charlotte before she heads to London , a bit of a calamity occurs.

To Muriel, Charlotte 's future husband must be perfect in every way. With the influx of heartsick young bucks descending on her home, Muriel begins to organize the situation. The men must compete in some way to qualify for Charlotte 's hand. But one man that Muriel encounters while driving her cart one day sends Muriel's plans into a tailspin. Sir Philip Somerville is stranded in the area while his carriage is repaired, and the only home truly eligible to host him is the duke's. Muriel takes an instant dislike to the baronet, but he seems nonplussed by her sarcasm and veiled rudeness. And he doesn't seem the least bit interested in Charlotte . What could he be up to? Muriel sets out to discover that.

PERFECTLY FLAWED is the second book in the Gentlemen of Worth series (after THE SUITER LIST). The Worth daughters are prime targets for the ton's eligible young lords, but it's not an easy undertaking with the ever vigilant Muriel on guard. She is a feisty, opinionated young lady, but even she will be tested by the interesting Philip Somerville.

A very entertaining, light read, PERFECTLY FLAWED is humorous, and oh so much fun.
