Monroe Hills, Pennsylvania – Present Day The apple of Janae Sanders’ eye is her only child, James, who is interested in dance and fashion design in high school. He comes home one day, all sad because the after-school art club is being discontinued due to school budget cuts. As president of the Parent-Teachers Association, Janae plans to go to war with the new interim superintendent to get the art club restored. Meanwhile, she is out with her besties when Adam Henderson arrives. He is back home after twenty years and is as fine-looking as he was back in high school. Janae always felt out of Adam’s league in high school, but he’s clearly interested in her. After being married to a control freak and finally breaking free to divorce him, she isn’t looking for romance. But with Adam wooing her, will she change her mind? How about when she learns that he is the dastardly superintendent who is behind cutting her son’s art club? Janae soon realizes that her “enemy” at school is none other than Adam in JANAE SANDERS’ SECOND TIME AROUND. After he discovers that she is the PTA president and is not afraid to challenge the school leaders, he agrees to a truce where they will find the funding for the art club. Adam is caught between pleasing the school board and Janae. He returned to Monroe Hills to help keep an eye on his father as his parents are getting older. He’s looking forward to the upcoming class reunion, especially since it will give him a chance to dance with Janae. Just as she cools off their relationship because of what he has done, will it heat up again? Janae is a tough cookie when it comes to getting what she wants in JANAE SANDERS’ SECOND TIME AROUND. She is known as being loud and curvy, which has had her butting heads with her mother about “toning it all down and losing weight.” But Janae has to fight to get what she wants, and nothing is going to stop her. When she and Adam were in high school, she was attracted to him, but he was always popular with other girls. No way would he look at her. But he was, though he had to leave her behind as he left town to pursue an NBA career that petered out. He went on to get his teaching degree and is now happy to be back in Monroe Hills to be the interim superintendent, with hopes that it becomes permanent. The cherry on top is getting to know Janae again. He is intrigued and attracted to her. Is there a chance for them? They dance around each other, playing with fire as they try to figure out how to keep their mutual attraction a secret from friends and family, as well as from the school board.
