New Orleans and Other Dimensions - Present Day

The god Apollo has sent out a plague amongst the Apollites and Daimons, and Medea refuses to see more of her family die. So when she and her brother learn the dragon Falcyn has a healing dragonstone, he's their first stop. But Falcyn is more than just an ancient, grumbly jerk—he also makes Medea feel more alive than she has in millennia.

Falcyn has no problem sticking near Medea. After all, she's the first person to really amuse him aside from his brothers and grandson. Using his dragonstone to help heal her family is something he's willing to do, despite his contrary nature, but it seems the universe is against them. Multiple enemies are hot on their trail, and Falcyn and Medea will have to find a way to work together to prevail.

Falcyn is a typical Sherrilyn Kenyon hero—a powerful hero with a heart of gold and a dark past. The journey Medea and Falcyn take from their first meeting at Sanctuary and through multiple different realms of existence is complex and filled with one obstacle after another. DRAGONSWORN certainly doesn't lack action. Longtime fans of Kenyon will have to be on the top of their game to remember who is who, and what side everyone is on.

At this point in the series, readers should not attempt to read DRAGONSWORN unless they have prior knowledge of the vast Dark-Hunter Universe. Characters from previous books show up, and many storylines intertwine to make this novel difficult, if not impossible, for any new readers. The series continues with BATTLE BORN, coming August 2018.
