At the end of February, she will return to Boston—and begin a new position as a pediatrician at a local clinic. Neither Wyatt nor Madi is looking for romance, but they decide to pretend to date to keep their families from setting them up with other people. But they are starting to like one another…a lot.

Meanwhile, Wyatt and Madi are enjoying their time together. Being a pediatrician, she loves children. Her father is from Legacy Canyon, but he married into society in Boston, where he is a doctor. As their only child, Madi is expected to stay in Boston and take a position offered to her at the respected and well-known clinic. But she is waffling over her decision. Is Wyatt going to figure into what she decides? Or is it because she is expected to follow along with what her parents want? She is growing to care for Wyatt and his sons, yet she feels she can’t commit to staying in Legacy Canyon and disappointing her parents. What will she decide?
