In spite of his life and business in Boston, Reid McCormack is coming home to Hope for a few months.  While home for his brother's wedding, he got a look inside the old mercantile building, and the possibilities for fixing it up were endless.  An in-demand architect in Boston, Reid is used to creating plans for new buildings, but something about the historical building calls to him.  He and his brothers bought the building, and now Reid has come home to repair it.  He has every intention of going back to Boston as soon as he's done, so getting involved with anyone is probably not a good idea.  So why can't Reid stop thinking about Samantha?

Between her booming floral shop and taking care of her elderly grandmother, Samantha Reasor has a pretty full plate – too full for romance lately.  She surprises herself by inviting Reid to dinner, but realizes he may just be perfect for her.  She doesn't have room in her life for a relationship, but a little fun while Reid is home could be just what Sam needs.

A chance to restore a hundred year-old building draws Reid back to his hometown in MAKE ME STAY.  He's not exactly hands-on in the work he does in Boston, but the mercantile building has his fingers itching to get involved.  After a bad break-up, he isn't looking to get involved with anyone, especially not someone tied to the hometown he no longer lives in.  But Samantha proves difficult to resist.  And with two of her best friends married to his brothers, Sam and Reid find themselves thrown together a lot.

While there is plenty of interaction with the characters from the previous novels, the characters and the town are the only real connection in the series.  Each novel stands well on its own, and each gives readers a peek at small town life, both good and bad points.  A sweet and sexy romance, don't miss MAKE ME STAY.
