New Zealand and Australia – Present Day

Six years ago, Elena Lyon lost her virginity in a one-night stand with billionaire Nick Messena. She's never forgotten the man, especially since she works for his family, but she knows that she can never let him bed her again. To do so would only rub in the pain of realizing there's no future between them. But Nick enters Elena's life again, needing her help, and he seems determined to pick up where they left off six years ago—with the same result…one night of scintillating sex.

Nick is attracted to Elena and he, too, hasn't forgotten their one night together six years ago. He's not into permanent relationships and had avoided the temptation of being near Elena, but a family tragedy and secret has brought them together, and he needs her help solving the mystery. Being around Elena stirs the flames of desire, and while he didn't plan it, he soon wants her back in his bed. But will another night lead to another…and break Elena's heart?

Elena and Nick have been fringe characters The Pearl House series by Fiona Brand, but JUST ONE MORE NIGHT can be read as a standalone, so readers won't feel lost in understanding the family dynamics. Elena has been a personal assistant, but she now wants to move onto another career, but unknown to her, Nick may manipulate her behind the scenes to up his chances at claiming her for himself. Their connection dates back years ago, as Elena's aunt worked for Nick's father, but scandal ensued when they perished in a car accident. Were they secret lovers? What about a Messena heirloom ring that is missing?

JUST ONE MORE NIGHT takes place mostly at Dolphin Bay, New Zealand, where Elena and Nick first had sex. The memories of their night together have never been forgotten and she realizes he is trouble with a big T if she gives into him again. Elena tries to keep Nick at an arm's length, but he's persistent. There is just something about her that attracts him. Even so, Nick is distrustful at first because of her aunt. Elena doesn't understand why Nick wants her, as she is slightly overweight and certainly not one of the poised beauties he's used to squiring around town. Does he only see her as an easy conquest to satisfy lust? Elena early on in JUST ONE MORE NIGHT gets a makeover and the results have Nick nearly toppling over in how beautiful she has become. She did it to put up a shield against him, but it only turns him on even more. The sex is great between them, but is there any chance of future happiness together?

If billionaire alpha Greeks who like to control their love life is your cup of tea, then JUST ONE MORE NIGHT will fit nicely on your to-be-bought list. Elena gives Nick a few fits along the way, but in the end, it's a good, old-fashioned love story that will have you rooting for them to find their happily-ever-after.
