San Francisco – Present Day Fable is dating Brady after they were introduced by her sister and her boyfriend. At a big Thanksgiving party that includes both couples and Fable’s employer, Wilder, she is stunned to find Brady in a room with the caterer, giving him pleasure. She ends it right there, but heads back to the party where her sister accepts her boyfriend’s marriage proposal. Fable knew her sister would ask her to be the maid of honor, and she shouldn’t have been surprised when Brady was asked to be the best man for his cousin. The marriage ceremony will be at Christmas, and everyone is expected to get along. The problem is, Fable needs to prove to everyone that she is over Brady, so when her boss, Wilder, offers to be her fake date, she jumps at the chance. Wilder is a single father and very rich. He owns a football team in San Francisco and is actually very nice to Fable. She figures they can use their friendship as a springboard to pretend to be romantically involved. While her sister knows that she isn’t dating Brady anymore, she won’t be told that the new relationship with Wilder is phony. All Fable wants to do is prove that she is over Brady, which she is, but is dating Wilder the right thing? He’s funny, handsome, and rich. In fact, the marriage ceremony will be taking place at the “cabins” up in the mountains that he owns. It turns out that they are luxurious cabins, and Fable and Wilder are forced to share the “Honeymoon Suite.” Before they even arrived, the two were sampling a few hot kisses. Readers suspect that the bed in the room will be getting lots of usage while they are there. What started as a need for a Christmas boyfriend for a wedding turned into something more in MY FAVORITE HOLIDATE. Fable’s seemingly perfect romance with Brady was shattered when she caught him with the caterer. Now both are asked to participate in the wedding party, and she doesn’t want her sister to see how hurt she was by Brady. Wilder is a nice guy and the perfect one to prove she is over her ex because he is handsome and filthy rich. Add that there will be Christmas games going on between the various couples, then she can’t go dateless. The last thing she wants is for her sister to feel sorry for her when she should be happily getting married. In MY FAVORITE HOLIDATE, there is a lot of back and forth between Fable and Wilder. They bounce off each other well, and readers will enjoy their interactions, especially since the banter soon leads to other things. Oh, they started out practicing a couple of kisses before they left for the mountains, but it’s clear there is a big sexual attraction brewing between them. Now that they are forced to share the Honeymoon Suite, well, things are about to heat up. In this tale, there are plenty of smoking hot love scenes. I’m surprised that it takes them so long to realize that there is more than friendship between them. They are truly perfect together, both in and out of bed. A fun and interesting tale about a fake relationship and spending time with family and friends during the Christmas holiday. You won’t want to miss all the fun, so be sure to pick up MY FAVORITE HOLIDATE. Patti Fischer |
