| WHAT THE PRINCE WANTS – Jules Bennett Widower Prince Mikos Colin Alexander has been feeling the pressure lately at home and is undecided if he wants to continue as royalty; he decides to take his young daughter, Iris, to California for six months while he makes his decision. Hiring Darcy makes her the only staff member of the household and requires that she live with him and Iris. Being in close quarters forces them into contact with each other, and mutual attraction soon builds. But an American commoner is not the perfect bride for a prince. An affair is all Colin can offer Darcy. After the humiliation and breakup from her fiancé, Darcy has retreated into a shell when it comes to dating and opening up to people about what happened.
