I always love a friends-to-lovers romantic tale, so I knew even before I started reading TO TAME A COWBOY that I'd enjoy this—and I wasn't disappointed. Piper's dad was a rodeo star who let fame put his family in the backseat in the scheme of things, and she doesn't want that to happen if she gets involved with Ryan. Yet Ryan is one sexy cowboy she can't push away, especially when he's recuperating under her roof. Piper prides herself on her independence, but Ryan is determined to help her out by pitching in to fix up her house. It's a war of wills between them as he steps in to try and make life easier for her. The passion they feel about their beliefs soon turns to steamy passion between them. Both are afraid their friendship would suffer if they become lovers, but in the end it doesn't matter, because the sexual desire between them can't be denied!
