Romantic Comedy

Cleveland, Ohio – Present Day

Jenna Langan and Gage Marshall were once married, but when she broached the subject of having children, their marriage quickly fell apart. Since that time, they have continued to run into each other due to their mutual friends. Everyone can tell that Jenna and Gage aren’t over each other. During a wild evening with her girlfriends, where drinking a little too much is definitely involved, Jenna tells Ronnie and Grace that she still wants children-—-and that she wants one with Gage. They convince her to drug and seduce him to lure him to her bed. A phony call to Gage for help ensues, and it doesn’t take long for Jenna to tie Gage to the bed and have her wicked ways with him. Will it result in a baby for Jenna? And is she ready for the explosion that will happen when Gage finds out?

It doesn’t take Jenna long to find out exactly how Gage feels. He’s majorly pissed at her and lets her know in no uncertain terms he’s not leaving her side until it’s determined if she is pregnant or not. So, he moves in with her, which amps up the sexual tension between them. Undercover policeman Gage thought he was only doing Jenna a favor when he distanced himself from her during their marriage, because, after all, bringing a child into today’s world is just plain dangerous. It’s up to Jenna to convince him otherwise.

Can a couple who once divorced get to know each other again-—-enough to fall in love for a happily ever after? Will the problems that drove them apart be resolved enough to let them work things out? Or, is the magical spinning wheel of Jenna’s aunt Charlotte that spins a very special knitting yarn going to works its charm? It certainly did for Ronnie and Dylan (TANGLED UP IN LOVE), so why not for Jenna and Gage?

Jenna is smart and funny, with some insecurity left over after the failed marriage. Enough that she thinks she is out of the market and won’t be able to have that baby she wants desperately. Her friends figure if Gage and Jenna are pushed together, albeit due to a baby, then they’ll see that they belong together. Gage is overprotective, and if it means never getting married again or ever becoming a father, so be it. He’s a big, strong man, but readers know it won’t be long before Jenna brings him to his knees! The sex is hotter than Hades, and their lively banter highlights LOVES ME, LOVES ME KNOT. Of course, you’ll be wondering if the magical yarn has something to do with their reunion.

Get your knitting needles out! We get caught up with Ronnie and Dylan from TANGLED UP IN LOVE. Plus, add in a side story about Grace and Zack, and we get a hint of where the next story in the Chicks with Sticks trilogy is going. Aunt Charlotte just may have her magical spinning work cut out for her!

Deliciously funny and wickedly delightful from beginning to end, Heidi Betts’s LOVES ME, LOVES ME KNOT is a story I highly recommend you put to the top of your “must have” list.
