France, Tennessee, and Mexico - The Present

When Ethan Bishop is informed his former partner, Shea Monroe, is working for the infamous human trafficker, Donald Rosemount, he refuses to believe the evidence. He loved Shea and drove her into the arms of his best friend, Cole Mathison. Cole had been killed trying to infiltrate Rosemount's organization, and Ethan quit Last Chance Rescue as a result. Now the head of the Last Chance Rescue manipulates him into rescuing Shea to find out what happened to her.

Rescued by Ethan, Shea can't remember much except her master will punish her if she is late for her daily 'vitamin' injection. With time, she realizes Rosemount abducted, tortured and abused her in the most humiliating ways through a drug that wiped out memory and volition. He reduced to her little more than a zombie.

Shea and Ethan join forces to take down Rosemount's organization, but Rosemount is always one step ahead of them. This extraordinarily evil man looks nothing like the villain he is, but his scientists have made an army of mind-controlled soldiers under his command, with one very special, unexpected weapon. If Shea and Ethan fail, they will become two more members of that army.

RUN TO ME is the most intense of a series of powerful stories including the two previous books: RESCUE ME and RETURN TO ME. Losing one's self and becoming a tool and slave is a scary thought, and makes terrifying reading. Ethan and Shea have a history together that makes it nearly impossible for a happy ending, especially considering what happened to Cole, the man who meant so much to both of them. For super suspense, well crafted characters and plot, read RUN TO ME.
