Isle of Mid

I'm Raine Benares, elfin seeker extraordinaire. And, boy, did I find the big one a few weeks ago. The Saghred stone is an ancient mystical tool with enormous power, and now I'm caught in the middle of those who seek the stone for their own devious plans. Demons, goblins, and all around crazy people have set their sights on me, and it's only a matter of time before one of them gets me. Not only that, but somehow the stone has enhanced my magical abilities, and I now have the misfortune of being able to see naked blue demons running around the Isle of Mid. Trust me, that's not a good thing. The Saghred is able to absorb the magical protection surrounding my home, and it's open season on all things mystical. The stone is also allowing me to connect to two very powerful and very different men. Tamnais Nathrach, a Goblin dark mage, and Paladin Mychael Eiliesor, the commander of the Conclave Guardians. What this means is a mystery to all three of us, but if we want to keep the Saghred from falling into the wrong hands, we're going to have to work together, no matter the cost.

Raine Benares is in over her magical head in Lisa Shearin's THE TROUBLE WITH DEMONS. A follow up to MAGIC LOST, MAGIC FOUND and ARMED & MAGICAL, Raine is once again knee deep in trouble, and this time, there may be no way out. The Saghred stone is becoming a pain in the you know what, even if it is strengthening her powers. But Raine knows that if she wants to keep herself and the others around her safe, she's going to have to do everything in her power to keep the stone away from the evil that wants the it. She doesn't know whom to trust, since everyone has his or her own agenda. Is Tam keeping her safe because the goblin wants to get closer to the Saghred? And is Mychael really attracted to Raine for who she is? These are just a few of the questions readers will want answered, and the author doesn't disappoint. It is best to have read the first two books, though, since THE TROUBLE WITH DEMONS picks up right after the previous one, and newcomers might be easily confused.

An engrossing fantasy full of action and intrigue, find out just what THE TROUBLE WITH DEMONS is in Lisa Shearin's latest.
