Anica Revere has always preferred non-magical guys, even though her mother hoped she would fall in love with a nice young wizard. Being a witch has gotten her into a lot of trouble. For the last few weeks, she has been dating Jasper and is trying to figure out how to tell him about her true nature. Her last boyfriend freaked out when she told him, especially when she threw a little magic in to convince him. Anica is really angry when she discovers that Jasper lied to her about his past relationship, and when he won’t take no for an answer, she taps him with her wand…zap, he turns into a cat!

Anica has a problem, as does Jasper…she does not know the spell to change Jasper back to human. She calls her sister, Lily, for help. It is definitely against the rules to change a human into an animal, so she will be in trouble with the Wizard Council if she doesn’t get Jasper back to his human form. Because she broke the law, even her magic no longer works! What is she to do? She and Lily hunt for a counterspell, although Lily thinks Anica should have Jasper neutered and kept as a pet. Jasper yowls at that comment! He is also having some problems with Anica’s pet cat, and he absolutely refuses to use the litter box. He does manage to turn on Anica’s computer and let her know what he thinks about the whole situation!

A very funny story, BLONDE WITH A WAND is a fantasy which will keep readers laughing. Even though Anica is angry with Jasper, she is determined to help him, and poor Jasper, all he can do is yowl and meow his displeasure. Jasper flips into human form for short periods and he learns a lot about himself in feline form. He is stuck until he can figure out what he needs to do to counter the spell, and Anica will not regain her powers until the spell is broken. She becomes less inhibited with Jasper and quite the femme fatale.

Readers can expect a very sexy and graphic romance as well as a comical light-hearted tale. Look for Lily’s story CHICK WITH A CHARM in March.
